Limited Warranty

What is covered, for how long, and how to get service.

1. Who gives this warranty

This Limited Warranty is given by [TBD: legal entity name] to the original purchaser of a PURWTR system installed at the original service address. It is a "limited warranty" under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

2. Installation workmanship

Workmanship by the PURWTR-dispatched licensed installer is covered against defects, such as leaks at installed fittings, for [TBD: 60 to 90 days] from your installation sign-off. We will send the installer back to repair covered defects at no charge.

3. Equipment

System equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will provide a copy of each manufacturer warranty before purchase and help you file claims. [TBD: manufacturer names, terms and durations for each tier.]

4. What is not covered

Filter media and cartridges that wear out with normal use; damage from freezing, flooding, fire, water pressure above the manufacturer's rating, misuse, or alterations or repairs not made by PURWTR or its installer; pre-existing plumbing defects; and source water conditions outside the system's specifications.

5. How to get service

Contact support@purwtr.com or use your customer dashboard with your order number, a description and photos. We will respond within [TBD] business days to schedule service.

6. Implied warranties

Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this written warranty to the extent the law allows. Some states do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this may not apply to you.

7. Incidental and consequential damages

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow this exclusion, so it may not apply to you.
