The rules for using purwtr.com, our apps, and buying a PURWTR system.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of purwtr.com, PURWTR dashboards and apps, and any purchase from PURWTR (operated by [TBD: legal entity name], "PURWTR," "we," "us"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these Terms and to the policies linked below, including the Privacy Policy, Returns & Cancellation Policy, Warranty, and Installation & Service Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You may sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly at support@purwtr.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Products, pricing and availability

We sell whole-home water filtration systems, replacement filters and related services, installed by independent licensed plumbing contractors. Prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout before you pay. Service is offered only in areas we serve; an address check does not guarantee availability. We may correct pricing errors and may cancel an order affected by an error, with a full refund of anything paid.

4. Payments and taxes

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. Financing, where offered, is provided by third-party lenders under their own terms; see the Financing Disclosure.

5. Subscriptions

Filter subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Terms are in the Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms, including how to cancel online.

6. Installation

Installation is performed by independent, state-licensed plumbing contractors. Scheduling, site access, and what is included are described in the Installation & Service Terms.

7. Water quality information

Water test results and product descriptions are informational and are not medical advice. See the Water Quality & Health Disclaimer.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no unlawful activity, scraping that burdens our systems, attempts to access other users' data, fraudulent referrals or orders, or interference with security features.

9. Programs

Referral, affiliate, partner, sales, clipper and influencer programs are governed by the Program Terms.

10. Intellectual property

The PURWTR name, logo, site content and software belong to us or our licensors. Brand assets provided in program dashboards may be used only as the Program Terms allow.

11. Disclaimers

Except for the written warranties we provide and rights that cannot be waived under law, the site and services are provided "as is." Nothing in these Terms limits any implied warranty or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

13. Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally. 14. Changes

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the current version. Changes do not apply retroactively to orders already placed.
